A Simple Page

The System I use is not quite standard markdown: I added a mechanism for communicating extra details about a page at the top.

This is most useful for you with the title of your page, as I needed to be able to put that in the browser bar. But it can be used to pass all kinds of information to the templates that create the full web pages.

So every standard page you make will look a little something like this:

#title:The Title of this Page

I have written some content ...

To create a new page:

• click on the root folder in the tree view.
  > You will see a folder menu open up next to it.
• In that menu click “Add File Here”
  > You will see a dialog asking for the name of the new file
• Give the file a name ending in “.md” it will be a markdown file
  > You will now see an empty text area.
• Enter the info you want about the page as shown above > Make sure to leave an empty line between the title, and the rest of the content.
• Click Save
